2009 CONNECTICUT SWAT CHALLENGE CHAMPIONS

What a performance the North Central ESU put on in 2009! Their team finished in the top 11 in every event and a remarkable top 10 in 6 out of the 7 events. This regional team that represents such towns as Windsor, Bloomfield, Avon, Simsbury, Farmington, Canton, Granby, Suffield and East Windsor, this team excelled in their 5th year of competition. A great group of SWAT Operators, they are equally humble. We salute the North Central ESU for their fantastic effort in 2009. Congratulations also goes out to the Connecticut State Police West Team for their 2nd place finish. They were tied with North Central going into the final event, the 6.2 mile PT Challenge. Finishing 3rd was two time winner and the defending Champions, the Central Region ERT comprised of Officers from Bristol, Plainville and Southington. Regardless of where all the teams placed, every team who had the guts to compete turned out a winner.
