This was WORLD CLASS! You guys did a great Job and everything was done professionally. I was able to put myself to the test through what you have done. Any other day I would not have pushed my limits the way you guys made us push it. I know that our team (Waterbury ERT) is much closer now and we know where we need to improve. Once again I salute the West Hartford Police and all who were involved to make this event happen.

Many thanks to West Hartford PD, the sponsors and everyone else involved for putting the time in to organize an outstanding event. I think that multiple teams within the same agency should be staged so that they follow each other through the same course, ie. the hostage rescue. This way the
first and second team cannot tell the third team what to expect.
The sniper target array was very confusing.

I would like to thank Jeremy Clark and the West Hartford Police SWAT Team for, once again; conducting the most impressive police competition I have ever been involved with in my 19-year police career. The task of coordinating all the municipal, state, and military tactical units is monumental. Compound this with the fact that the events took place in several different locations simultaneously over a two-day period just gives more credit to the WHPD Swat Teams abilities and efforts. We should all remember, WHPD SWAT does not make any financial profit and does not compete in the events. They do all the work, and don’t even get to play. That is a tremendous sacrifice. Obviously, they do it for their respect of the SWAT Community.
I respectfully ask the competitors that they consider using the appropriate forum for any negative critiques of the events. Anonymous negative postings on this site do not give WHPD SWAT the opportunity to respond to your concerns. Please contact Jeremy Clark directly to discuss any improvements you might suggest so that we can all benefit next year and continue to make this challenging event the best in the country.
Be safe and see you next year.

On behalf of the West Hartford SWAT Team and the WHPD, we would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the SWAT teams and SWAT operators for their participation in this years CT SWAT Challenge. We were amazed at the skill and professionalism these teams showcased. Our hats are off to all of you who had the strength and courage to come out and show your wares. It was OUR honor to be able to mingle with all of you and see how the top teams in this region operate. We want to thank all of you who have made this challenge a success. Without all of you, we could not make this happen. Congrats to all of you who competed as we can honestly sat there were no "weak" teams in the field. Everyone brought something to the table and we all can learn from each other in events like this. We are all looking forward to next years CT SWAT Challenge (you all better train even harder because the CSC will be harder!) as well as deepening the bonds that we all have made during these last two years. Train hard, stay safe and we'll see you all soon.

As a police trainer with almost twenty years of training experience I have to first express my appreciation for involving LOCKUP Police Combat in such a
prestigious "high speed" police event. I also had the opportunity to witness the intense challenges developed for the competing teams.
It is my opinion that you all have developed a program that has been recognized nationally.
GREAT Job West Hartford SWAT!

Jeremy,
I have to commend you and your staff of professionals for an outstanding job this year. Long after the lights are out and everyone else has gone home, I know you guys were still busy at work picking up the mess and ensuring the playing fields were left in better condition than when we started. There were many discussion amongst my teammates about how these past few days had truly
benefited us. The spirit behind the competition and the opportunity to network with others was the most beneficial. It is in the face of adversity that we bond as a team and the past few days has surely made us stronger. You and your fine cadre should sleep well
tonight knowing that you have made us all stronger and safer for your efforts. I personally appreciate all you have done for me and my fellow team members on the CSP. As far as I am concerned, I am indebted to you for what you have given of yourself. If you ever need anything please don't hesitate to call.
Respectfully,
Eric Murray
